“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Here are the feet of some wonderful Khymer young men and women training to preach the gospel. They are among the most dedicated and enthusiastic young folks in the world. They will change the course of their country’s future as they bring light to dark places. I am certainly proud to be among their teachers. If you were around them your life would change too.
Here we are with friends at the Phnom Penh airport. It’s the only place I know in Asia with a Dairy Queen. It is not unusual to find people fighting over who gets to pick up or drop off at the airport based on knowing that means a Dairy Queen run. Pictured are Rich Dolan (CBI Dean), Julie Broyles (Director of the BEST Center), Shirley and myself. The picture was taken by Bobby Deason, a friend of many many years. We hadn’t seen Bobby for 15-16 years and of all places we meet in Cambodia. Bobby was here to teach a course that would have been taught by our fallen brother Tawn Lork. He loved the experience and the students loved him. In the old days the kids up at Sierra Bible Camp used to call him “Uncle BoBo”….now we call him “CamBoBo”. Love you Bobby, thanks for coming.
Now for a couple that fall into the “Don’t try this at home category……”
Believe it or not, these are common sites on the streets of Phnom Penh and surrounding areas.
We wish you all well. Things are great here. Plenty of people to teaching knowing that our teaching won’t end with our students. We thank you all for making it possible and the sacrifices that came with it. I can honestly say, “wish you were here!”
